We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, use the Service, or contact us for support. This includes:

• Account information (name, email address, password)
• Workspace data (workspace name, team members, settings)
• Customer support data (conversations, messages, and contact details from your customers)
• Usage data (how you interact with our services)
• Website chat: the chat on our website sends us nothing until you open it. Once you do, we keep your messages and any name or email you give, and while the chat is open it records the pages you view, your browser and screen size, and may work out your approximate location (country and city) from your IP address, which the chat does not keep. An AI answers from our help articles.
• Visitors to our customers' websites: our customers can put our chat widget on their own site. By default it sends us nothing until one of their visitors opens the chat. A customer can switch on site-wide visitor tracking by adding trackVisitors: true to the code they paste, and then we receive the page address, page title, referrer, browser and screen size of their visitors, and show it to that customer in Live Visitors. That is their choice to make and their promise to their own visitors; we do not switch it on for them and we do not use any of it for advertising.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Process transactions and send related information
• Power AI-assisted features (conversation drafts, auto-responses) using your knowledge base and conversation history
• Send technical notices and support messages
• Respond to comments and questions

We do not sell your personal information or your customers' data. We share information only:

• With service providers who assist in our operations (e.g., Stripe for billing, Anthropic for AI features)
• To comply with legal obligations
• With your consent

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at coasting@inbound.coasting.app.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS). However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
